Francisca Maya (Uruguay 1985) investigates within the geometric language imposing herself with the pictorial force of color and shape, free from an explicit symbolic meaning, giving the artwork its own playful sense.

Graduated in Industrial Design, she uses color with freedom and joy. The superimpositions of planes of color, or of geometric figures give a dynamism to her work, in the different media and formats in which it is displayed – paper, canvas, Plexiglas or acrylic, among others.
