Valentina López Aldao  (Venezuela 1986) chooses elements from her environment and her daily life to re-signify them and give them a new life as well as to surprise and captivate the viewer. With a predominantly photographic gaze, she updates Pop, both for the use of everyday elements and objects with which she works and for its repetition and use of color.

In her installations, urban interventions and her small and large format paintings, she displays her language in which emptiness is one of the main protagonists. López Aldao lives and works in Montevideo, Uruguay, near the beach, a place of great influence in her work.
